Tikal has only one topic of conversation: Japan! But his repetitive speech is starting to annoy his loved ones... Tikal decides to seek advice from his spiritual mother, Ikeda Mikiyo, a calligraphy artist and immigrant for over 20 years!

After a somewhat tumultuous flight, Tikal finally arrives in Tokyo, Japan! Upon arrival, he follows Okaa-san's advice by going to pay his respects at the city's most important temple, the Sensouji. It's also an opportunity for him to walk in the footsteps of a true modern icon of Japan: Kitano Takeshi!

Tikal has moved to Japan because he secretly dreams of finding Toriyama Akira, the creator of Dragon Ball... To aid him in his quest, he goes to meet Nishiyama-san, the owner of a manga shop in the heart of Tokyo for over 30 years!

Moving to Japan means having to choose what to take with you before rebuilding your life there! This means going shopping to fill in the gaps in your wardrobe. So, Tikal heads to Shibuya where he finds a rather unique pair of sneakers, much more Japanese than you might think...

Before setting off in search of Akira Toriyama, Tikal wants to understand a mysterious drawing of Goku that has always intrigued him! To find answers to his questions, he goes to Gokokuji, one of the most important temples in Tokyo...
