As the annual grand musical chairs competition approaches, the sighting of a UFO and a strange disappearance disrupt the tranquility of the small village of Wamurzelles.
In the midst of the Belgian wave of 1989, Axelle, an inspector, and her mother Thelma, a local radio host, must confront these new phenomena that are dividing the Wamurzelles community. The truth is unclear, and the differing beliefs of the two women do not help advance the investigation. With the help of Steven, an agent from SOBEPS, and several villagers, they must learn to listen to each other to act together, save the village from the threat, and successfully carry out the competition.
