Sandra Kim, It's Not Me

Pitch
On May 3, 1986, in Bergen (Norway), a young girl from Tilleur electrified a nation. She sang J'aime la vie, and Belgium won Eurovision for the first and, to this day, only time in its history. She was thirteen and a half; the song claimed she was fifteen—they had aged her by two years to make it believable. No one would ever break this record, as the minimum age was subsequently raised to sixteen. That night, an entire country rejoiced. Only one person wasn't celebrating: "I told myself: my life is ruined." She wasn't wrong. Forty years later, Sandra Caldarone lives with Sandra Kim as if she were a burdensome twin.
