Camille, the new cat caregiver, has settled into the team and takes care of the many kittens arriving at the refuge. Nadège and Sébastien travel to Louvain-la-Neuve for a special intervention. They assist Bart, a homeless man whose dog, Tara, has developed a worrying lump on her abdomen. Cédric resumes the rehabilitation work with Gala, the oldest and most challenging dog at the refuge. Aggressive and nervous in her cage, she scares away potential adopters... Clothilde and Cédric decide to introduce her to another dog to encourage her progress.

The refuge faces one of the most difficult abandonments they've had to experience: that of Jack and Indy, two 10-year-old Labrador brothers who had to be separated from their owner reluctantly to prevent him from losing his accommodation... For the team, this story is hard to endure because their chances of being adopted, especially together, are very low.

For this second episode, Sébastien, the director, welcomes Rémy (specialized educator) and two patients from the Saint-Martin neuro-psychiatric center to actively participate in the life of the refuge. This animal-assisted therapy project allows both the men and the animals to regain confidence and open up to others. It's a beautiful exchange, full of emotions. A man brings in Kovu, an Argentine Dogo he rescued from neglectful owners. The dog still has serious scars... it will take time for him to regain trust in humans.

Sébastien handles a heartbreaking abandonment, that of Luna. The elderly couple who surrender her must part with her due to disputes with their neighbors...

And little kitten Benjamin will do everything to increase his chances of being adopted by a family as lively as he is!

Clothilde and Sébastien come to the aid of a distressed owner. Overwhelmed by the situation, she has too many dogs and can no longer manage them all... she must make a choice and part with some of them...

The progress of Gala, the dog, continues astonishingly with Mehdi. The young man has developed a bond of trust with her. With Clothilde, they decide to introduce her to puppies to observe her behavior.

Tichat makes her entrance at the refuge. Found at the bottom of a garden, her prognosis is worrying. Camille and Aurélie take advantage of the presence of the veterinarian to have her examined. And a new, unexpected development concerning Jack and Indy will surprise the entire team!

But she makes an exceptional visit to Morisson, a dog considered aggressive, whom she had cared for for months at the refuge, to see what progress he has made since being adopted.
