The Silver Arrows: this is the story of one of the most famous automotive legends of the century. A myth created by Ferdinand Porsche and wanted by Adolf Hitler that dominated all Grand Prix races between 1934 and 1939. This undisputed domination on the circuits fascinated the world, but it was also an achievement dedicated to serving a criminal ideology. Hitler recovered their technology to use it in his planes, tanks, and other war machines. After the war, the Soviets found these cars and studied them to understand their supremacy. In the 1980s, an American collector visiting the USSR found pieces of the Silver Arrows and had them repatriated and restored. Of the 19 pre-war Silver Arrows, only four have been found and restored. One of them is in a private collection in Belgium and still runs on circuits worldwide, including Spa-Francorchamps.
